Pallavi Sharda, corporate lawyer turned actress reveals that Radhika whom she enacts in ‘Love BreakUps Zindagi’ borrows quite a bit from her real life too.
"I play a corporate type girl in ‘Love BreakUps Zindagi’,", discloses Pallavi. "In fact, that reminded me of the time when I was a corporate lawyer in Melbourne. In the film, Radhika is always wearing these figure-hugging corporate dresses which I don't wear nowadays. But the experience proved helpful because I could draw on it for my role in the film. In real life, I'm not a rigid person at all, but Radhika is and she's also very structured in the manner in which she leads her life."
Shedding light on an interesting aspect as regards her being pencilled into the project, Pallavi states, "I was the last person to be cast in ‘Love BreakUps Zindagi’. In fact, I was finalised just few days before the film went on floors."
Her maiden frame for ‘LBZ’ remains a cherished memory. "The very first shot that I gave for the film was for a Valentine's Day sequence in the movie," she bares.
"The best part is that it was shot just a day after Valentine's Day actually happened in Mumbai. So, the atmosphere in Mumbai was that of celebration and we got all of that very well." Adds she significantly, "I had just met Zayed two days prior to that and we were to do a scene in which we were supposed to be quite friendly to each other. Zayed went out of his way to make me comfortable, so that we could break down all the apprehensions and barriers."
