Spunky spontaneous actress Kajol is known for being a rebel and unconventional by nature. So it didn’t come as a surprise when after her Maa Durga darshan, she marched straight towards the public food stalls at the ongoing 'North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti Utsav' at Juhu Tulip Star. The light-eyed ‘Dilwale’ girl munched on the authentic spicy, juicy ‘puchka’ (the Kolkata counterpart of Mumbai’s symbolic snack pani puri) and 'mishti doi' (sweet curds) both, yesterday and the day before.
“It’s simply irresistible and I must go for it” enthused Kajol as her security bouncers formed a cordon around her while she relished the Bong chaat with her frenzied fans gazing at her. A staunch devotee of Maa Durga , Kajol has been seen offering obeisance to the revered deity along with her sister Tanishaa, mother Tanuja and cousin Sharbani.
A galaxy of Bollywood stars (like Anupam Kher), eminent singers (like Shaan and Sonu Nigam) and TV stars (like Sumona Chakravarty ) have been visiting the venue for darshan and many more are expected today and tomorrow. In this recent regional-Hindi dubbed movie ‘Velaiyilla Pattathari 2’ (VIP 2) directed by mega-star Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya starring Dhanush, versatile Kajol’s negative-shades performance was well-appreciated by her fans.
