Everyone is aware of the fact that it was with the complete permission of the former captain of the Indian cricket team, Mohammad Azharuddin, that the biopic on him go on the floor. In fact, he is one of those few sports persons (like Milkha Singh) who has not only completely supported the film but has also been involved in every aspect of the process of the film. However, now it seems that certain things have started bothering the former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin.
We hear that the cricketer is upset with the makers after they have apparently included some sensitive information that was shared by him off the record. Apparently, the said details may cause several problems for some people. Not divulging many details, the director of the film, Tony D'Souza has maintained that they are currently in talks with Azharuddin about a few portions of the film and that they are trying to resolve the matter amicably .It is being said that Azharuddin, who accompanied the film's cast and crew for a few promotional tours, was questioned by a leading news channel.
Readers must be aware that ''Azhar'' is said to be a tell-all tale of Azharuddin who was said to be involved in the most controversial match fixing scandal. The cricket biopic later unfolds into a court drama about the same case. However, when Azhar was posed with such questions during one such media session, he is said to have lost his cool and walked away from the show. Though we aren't aware of all the details, we also hear that going further, Azharuddin also refused to give interviews to other news channels.
The film is slated to release tomorrow.
