Model Mia Uyeda debuts in films

Popular Model Mia Uyeda, will be playing the role of a junior CIA agent alongside Sikander Kher, in the upcoming film, '' Tere Bin Laden- Dead or Alive'', which is a sequel of the 2010 film, written and directed by Abhishek Sharma.

Born and brought up in Vancouver, Canada, Uyeda was discovered at a convenience store at the age of 14. Since then, the girl had started her modelling career across countries like Canada, Europe, America and East Asia. The model-actress started her career in India in 2007 as a Kingfisher Calender model and was recently seen in television reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi season four as a contestant which was hosted by Akshay Kumar.

Making a debut in Mukesh Bhatt's ''Blood Money'' with Kunal Khemu, the model also acted in ''Tees Maar Khan'' directed by Farah Khan. Uyeda was then seen in Homi Adjania directed ''Cocktail'' where she played a cameo role. She was also a part of ''Khotey Sikkey''.

Mia has also hosted a show known as 9XE, which was Bollywood's first gossip show on 9xm, airing buzz from the B-town and celebrity interviews. Besides modelling and acting, Mia was also a VJ for MTV India’s Saturday Night Shuffle TV show, which garnered her fan following across the country. In addition to it, the 31 year old has done a French travel show; The Maharaja Route, shot in India, that gave her the opportunity to travel and connect with Indians.
