Acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee, whose hard-hitting performance in the just-released 'Satyameva Jayate' where he is hoodwinked by elusive vigilante John Abraham, has intrigued the masses, will soon be seen in a maverick movie 'Love Sonia', releasing on September 14. This film is a hard-hitting story of a 17-year-old girl who risks her life to rescue her sister from a vicious human trafficking network across India, Hong Kong and Los Angeles where Bajpayee plays a pivotal role.
Director Tabrez Noorani sounds elated as he shares, “The gritty film, inspired by a real-life incident, has merited standing ovations globally for its explosive and shocking expose on human trafficking. It also won the 'Best Indie Film Award' at the Indo Film-Fest 2018 in Melbourne. Our team is thrilled that the movie is now releasing in India. Our movie 'Love Sonia' has a formidable ensemble cast which includes Manoj Bajpayee, Freida Pinto, Richa Chadha, Rajkummar Rao, Sai Tamhankar, Adil Hussain, Demi Moore, Mark Duplass and 'introduces' the talented Mrunal Thakur in the title-role of 'Sonia'.”
