Actress Waluscha de Sousa says the one thing which she learnt from Shah Rukh Khan after working in 'Fan' was to put in complete effort for the film.
The model-turned-actress made her film debut in the Maneesh Sharma-directed drama-thriller opposite Shah Rukh. Waluscha, who has worked in several TV commercials with the 'Chennai Express' star, feels Shah Rukh gives all his efforts while working in a movie.
“When you are shooting a TV commercial, that Shah Rukh is completely different from the one on a movie set because he is so much into his character. What I learnt from being around him on a movie set, is that you take your work extremely seriously,” told Waluscha.
“You have to make complete effort for the film. With all the adulations that comes in, Shah Rukh is still humble. Dedication, humility take you a long way. To sink in a character is a very important lesson I have learnt from him,” she added.
'Fan' featured the 50-year-old actor in a double role, that of a superstar and a common man. Though the film garnered critical acclaim, it did not set the cash registers ringing at the box office. Waluscha, however, says the team went against the tide to come out with a film which was unconventional by Bollywood standards.
Waluscha recently bagged 'World Consulting and Research Corp' awards as the most promising debutante this year for her performance in 'Fan'.
