
‘Kuch Log’ to release soon
‘Kuch Log’ is a thought provoking film based on human values and social ethics. It is a mainstream commercial feature film dealing with contemporary issues. The film follows the story of a dreaded terrorist whose life crosses paths with someone who teaches him the true teachings of the Holy Quran. The turning point in the movie is how his life changes after that and how he tries to walk on the righteous path which makes for a very inspiring story about redemption. ‘Kuch Log’ is not trying to take any sides and is an unbiased attempt in portraying the life after a trauma in a common man’s life. The youth of the nation will completely relate to the story. The movie is directed by Shuja Ali and the star cast includes veteran actor Anupam Kher, Gulshan Grover, Ganesh Venkatraman, Arya Babbar, Rati Agnihotri, Neelima Azeem, Tom Alter, Aarthi Thakur, Razzak Khan, Ravi Jhankal, Bikramjeet Kanwarpal etc. Music has been composed by Shameer Tandon. The music score is a mixed bag first time ever, Asha Bhonsle and Shaan singing the romantic duets and the energizing Sukhvinder clapping to a qawwali. The film is being shot in a start to finish 40-day schedule in poignant locations of Lucknow.
Music of Indo-US film ‘Will To Live’ launched
Music of Indo American venture ‘Will To Live’ was launched at Time and Again in the presence of Producer Mr Amrit Das, MD of music label FilmyBox Music Narendra Singh, music director Bappi Lahiri, Mamta Sharma, Reema Lahiri, etc. The show was anchored by Sheena Chohan, Miss India Universe in 2010. Renowned music director Bappi Lahiri has created a perfect fusion of Western and Indian music for ‘Will to Live’. Its Hindi Lyrics is written by Sameer and Sudhakar Sharma. Other voices are of Asha Bhonsle, Sunidhi Chouhan, Kumar Sanu, Sharon Prabhakar, Reema Lahiri and Mamta Sharma. For the first time in India, English and Hindi songs have blended together in one film album of ‘Will to Live’. Will To Live is produced under the banner of Ruby Pictures (A netGuru Film) ‘Will to Live’ is inspired from a true story about a cancer patient and the father’s fight to save his son. The film releases soon worldwide.
Actor Shiv Pandit unhurt in accident
Actor Shiv Pandit, who plays one of the lead roles in director-producer Anurag Kashyap’s next production ‘Shaitan’, met with an accident Wednesday when a taxi smashed into his car at Versova here. He was unhurt. The incident took place at the corner of Kashyap’s office lane. “I was taking a right turn to enter Anurag’s lane when this guy just smashed into my car,” Shiv told IANS. “I had to wait for police to come there and write a FIR. The right side of the car is absolutely smashed but luckily I am not hurt,” said Shiv.
Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, ‘Shaitan’ is a story of a group of Mumbai youngsters.
