2015 is turning out to be an exciting year for Richa Chadda. She enjoyed immense critical acclaim with Masaan and this Friday she would be seen opposite Randeep Hooda in Main Aur Charles. For someone who is an outsider, she certainly seems to have worked towards making her place as an insider, after starting off with a supporting part in Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! (2008).
Meanwhile, she has no qualms flipping between playing a central protagonist to being a part of an ensemble to enacting the part of a strong character where someone else is playing the title role.
"My emphasis is on the script. Like the ones that I am doing currently, in one of these I am a part of an ensemble case, in another I am playing a central lead, then there is this one where I am one of the three principle characters. See, a film has to work as a whole; the script has to good. I want stardom on my own terms. The time is right when I have stepped into the industry. 10-15 years ago, it wouldn't have been possible," says Richa, who is all set to sign Sarabjit where she plays Randeep Hooda's wife.
