National award-winning actress Vidya Balan said she was never part of the Bollywood rat race aiming for stardom and box office numbers, but surely wants her upcoming film 'Kahaani 2-Durga Rani Singh' to do well.
“I want the film to do very well. I am not thinking of anything like this. I feel thrilled about the work that I am doing. I just want it (Kahaani 2') to do well... Ups and downs are part of career," Vidya replied when asked if a lot is at stake for her professionally with 'Kahaani 2'.
'The Dirty Picture' star insists that box office numbers do not matter to her. “I don't care about the graph, I have never been bothered about all this. I have never been in that rat race. I have never competed. I have been living in a bubble of my own. I have never compared myself to anyone or compared anyone to me. I think therefore numbers, remuneration are something I have never spoken about it. I get as much as what I command and that's what matters to me,” she said.
