Actor Hrithik Roshan opened the IIFA 2016 ceremony with his enthralling performance this past weekend in Madrid, Spain. Hrithik, who was accompanied by his sons Hridhaan and Hrehaan, flew to Africa for a mini trip after their IIFA getaway.
When the actor and his kids were returning from Africa, their connecting flight to Mumbai was from Istanbul. Hrithik couldn't get tickets for the business class, so they took an earlier flight and opted for economy. A few hours later, news broke about the terrorist attack at Istanbul airport. Recapping about their escape, Hrithik condemned the attacks in the name of religion and gave a message to stand united against terrorism. Tweeting about it, he wrote, "missed connecting flight at Istanbul n wer stuck at airport next flight ws next day,but took economy n flew out earlier. #Prayers4istanbul. Ws helped by d kindest staff at Istanbul arport hours ago. Shocking news. Innocents killed 4 religion.V must stand united against terrorism."
On the work front, Hrithik will start his promotional tour for his period drama ''Mohenjo Daro''.
