Panaji: The Entertainment Society of Goa is set to pay tribute to legendary Bengali actress Suchitra Sen by hosting a three-day film festival next week.
Suchitra Sen film festival, kickstarting from April 11 at Maquinez Palace, will present the classics including 'Harano Sur', 'Bombai Ka Babu', 'Aatmiyo Swajan', 'Aandhi', 'Guerrilla' and 'Lal Tip'.
Sen, 82, who was also called Bengal's Greta Garbo, died in Kolkata early this year.
The actress began her career with the Bengali film 'Shesh Kothay' in 1952 and is known for her role in Bimal Roy's 'Devdas' (1955) and 'Aandhi' (1975).
This film festival is a tribute to the actress who, in 26 years of her career, acted in 61 films.
The screening of the film will be free of cost.
