Several celebrities from the glamour and cricket world including Aamir Khan, Sachin Tendulkar and Hrithik Roshan had attended the special screening of Ram Madhvani directed "Neerja", in Mumbai.
Film-maker Karan Johar, Subhash Ghai, Anil Kapoor, Yuvraj Singh, Sunil Gavaskar, Ayushmann Khurrana and Amit Sadh were among others, who attended the screening on Monday night.
Sachin who was present with his wife said, "It is truly a special film. What a braveheart Neerja was, a real hero. I am happy that producer, Atul Kasbekar, and his team got together and worked for the film. It is based on a special person. A must watch!," Sachin said.
Yuvraj, who came along with wife-to-be, Hazel Keech, too felt it was brilliant film. "Neerja is a true Indian hero. The film has great performances of Sonam Kapoor and Shabana Azmi, and also reminds us that these kind of heroes live forever. I am very touched," he said.
Sonam's dad, Anil Kapoor, looked pleased as everyone was praising the film and his daughter's performance in the biopic. "Some films are inspiring and this is one of them. I liked the script and the film is amazing. I am happy about Sonam's performance, but the audience reaction is also important," he stated.
