Sonakshi Sinha bonds with Sambhar locals
Amit Sharma‘s directorial debut ‘Tevar‘ is currently being shot in Sambhar district of Rajasthan and its leading lady Sonakshi Sinha recently spent some quality time with the locals there.
Sonakshi tried their delicacies and also tried to learn their dialect and accent. However, that’s not all, she also dressed up like the local women and posed with them.
A source close to the team said, “Sonakshi loves interacting with people and learning their culture. She makes sure that she learns about the people and their traditions whenever she shoots at any outdoor place. In fact, when we were shooting in Sambhar, Sonakshi met few local ladies and spoke to them for quite some time and even dressed up like them and posed for a picture.”
‘Tevar’ is the Hindi remake of Telugu superhit ‘Okkadu’ and it will feature Arjun Kapoor as the male lead.
Sushant in and as ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’
The first look of Dibakar Banerjee‘s upcoming spy thriller ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ has been unveiled and it features the lead actor of the film, Sushant Singh Rajput. By the look of it we can say that Sushant has left no stone unturned to get into the skin of his character, as it can’t get more Bengali than this.
Sushant is seen walking on the streets of Kolkata wearing a dhoti, kurta and a coat, which he has teamed with shoes and socks. Side-parted hair and a moustache complete his look. Rajput will essay the titular role in the movie.
Set in the war-torn Kolkata of the 40s, the film is based on Bengali writer Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s famous fictional detective Byomkesh Bakshi. The film is being co-produced by Yash Raj Films and Banerjee.
Nargis Fakhri turns dietician
Model-actress Nargis Fakhri has turned dietician for her upcoming film ‘Main Tera Hero’.
Nargis, who herself shed weight by going on a special juice diet, made her co-star Illeana D’Cruz try the same for one of the scenes in the film. “I had a great time shooting in Bangkok. While I was there I always wanted to try a juice cleanse. I have heard and researched great things about giving your body a break from regular or junk food, so I decided to try a six-day juice cleanse. I lost three kilos in six days,” Nargis said.
She also said that seeing her diet course, Illeana got curious whom she convinced to try it. But she could do it only for one day, the actress said.
‘Main Tera Hero’, a contemporary commercial Bollywood entertainer, features Varun Dhawan, Nargis Fakhri and Illeana D’Cruz.
