When mascot star, M.P.Shatrughan Sinha, released the music of director Hemant Pradeep's debut Hindi film 'Mmirsa' (a fusion-title of the Mirza-Sahiba legendary lovers,) most invitees were intrigued, trying to figure out Sinha’s discreet connection with the movie. Only when Shatrughan came on stage and spilled the beans, as to why he had specially flown down from Delhi, for the occasion did they realize the sentiments.
“Since my buddy Shashi Ranjan and his director brother Hemant are more like my younger brothers, I had to make it possible to attend this music release and extend my best wishes for this impressive venture,“ said Shatrughan who then showered praise on the promising debutant screen pair Souryansh & Saanvi. Informed Hemant, “Our musical movie is set in contemporary India as we depict the souls of Mirza-Sahiba reborn and reincarnated as Sunny & Seerat in picturesque Punjab”. Also stealing attention at the event were the current craze composer-singer duo ‘Meet Bros’ Harmeet and Manmeet who for a change have composed ‘all’ the songs of ‘Mmirsa’. Among the celebs who turned up at the event were Ravi Kissen, Ranjeet (they are part of the cast), Anushka Ranjan, Anu Ranjan and Deepshikha.
Opening up candidly, the Meet Bros. said, “Actually, we have composed the songs of this romance theme album few years ago, when we had enough time on our hands. It has a vibrant variety of racy crisp tracks. Even the on-screen song-visuals are awesome and will definitely excite the audiences,” reacted the duo.
