'Baaki sab (future) first class hai': Kiara Advani

With her bold yet engaging performance in one of the shock-value ‘Lust Stories’ Netflix shorts helmed by Karan Johan followed by her agile dancing in the rhythmic ‘Baaki sab First-Class hai’ ’ trending song from ‘Kalank’, it’s evident that gorgeous Kiara Advani has emerged a ‘first-class’ fabulous actress-dancer as well.

Even as her latest maverick movie ‘Kabir Singh’ releases next week, she says she is ‘both nervous and excited’. Gushes the articulate Advani, “Guess my great times are ahead since I have four movies (including ‘Good News’ and Laxmmi Bomb’) on hand now. The first one that releases, will be ‘Arjun Singh’ opposite mega-star Shahid Kapoor directed by Sandeep Vanga Sir which is super-special to me. That’s because it’s my first ever passionate love story with lots of unapologetic rawness to it. Plus it’s a remake of a super-hit cult Telugu movie ‘Arjun Reddy’ which again was directed by the same director Vanga.”

“Retaining the core emotions, Shahid and I have given our original interpretations-nuances. It’s so gratifying, that ‘Kabir Singh’ has shaped up very well. Which is evident from even the gripping glimpses from our movie’s trending trailer,” she shrugs.

Curiously enough, Kiara is wondering ‘why’ there have been stray cynical reactions to the lip-lock smooch scenes shown in the trailer. “Since it’s a realistic love-story, it’s a very normal way of showing someone how much you love him or her and it goes with flow of the film. One should be open about it when in true love,” counters the outspoken Kiara who was appreciated for her ‘wifey’ lead-role in the cricket-centric bio-pic on M S Dhoni.
