While currently it is ''Jazbaa'' all the way for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, plans are already in place for her next. ''Sarabjit'' which is finally getting ready to go on floors, already has a release date set for itself. What makes it all the more interesting is that this is the only film that is willing to take on IPL 2016 and that too when the tournament is at its peak.
"Producers Smita Thackeray, Sandeep Singh, Omung Kumar and Rashid Saeed have already made the release date public as 20th May. Now this is a brave move as the IPL finals are scheduled for 29th May. For at least two weekends, ''Sarabjit'' would have to battle with the knockout games, and then the finals. This is the time when IPL is at its peak and still, the makers feel that it is the right time to arrive," informs our source.
As a matter of fact, no other film has yet dared to arrive on either of the two Fridays, be it 20th or 27th May. Hence, since biggies ''Housefull 3'' and ''Jagga Jasoos'' have been slated for 3rd June, ''Sarabjit'' gets two back to back weekends all for itself.
