Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been invited by international singing sensations Beyonce and Madonna for a mega charity concert Chime for Change in London next month, aimed at generating funds for women’s rights and empowerment as well as their awareness around the globe. After a rocking appearance at Cannes 2013, Ash confirms her presence with hubby Abhishek Bachchan on June 1st.
Madonna (who will not be performing) will join Ash, Frieda Pinto, as well as Archbishop Desmond Tutu, former British Prime Minister Gordon with wife Sarah Brown, and Hollywood star Jessica Chastain as a presenter.
The concert is underwritten by international fashion brand Gucci which guarantees to fund at least 120 projects supporting girls and women globally.
