Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gets the much needed permission for shooting at the Wagah Border for ''Sarbjit''. Recently, there was news about how the makers of ''Sarbjit'', were struggling in getting permission to shoot for a crucial sequence at the Wagah Border.
The cast and crew, who have been shooting in Amritsar since the last three weeks, were fighting for the Wagah Border shoot permission every single day in the run to finish their schedule. The long wait has finally come to an end as permission is granted and it was all possible because of Ash.
An insider said that in spite of going through all the departments, the makers were stuck when it came to the final stage. In an urge so as to not disappointedly leave the city and make every inch possible to shoot for the crucial scene, the makers requested Ash to help if she could.
The professional and kind actress agreed and requested Rajnath Singh, Minister of Home Affairs of India, and other important officials to grant permission. Considering the genuine request, the authorities had to give a thumbs up for the shoot. The team returned to Mumbai with great satisfaction. Ash sure knows to play the peacekeeper! She said, "it is foremost for me to complete the film as the role is very important to me".
May her tribe increase!
