What’s tinsel town without a diva? Even if she is — or perhaps because she is — an enigmatic recluse. Not exactly your ageing star pining away pathetically on Sunset Boulevard (though the sunsets at Bandra Bandstand can be spectacular). She’s a bejeweled mystery who steps out in a cloud of Kanjeevarams and mogras… and speaks very, very little. Thank God for that. We couldn’t take one more chattering star holding forth on everything from biscuits to the Union Budget. Keep that mystery goin’, we say.
