It hurts all of us to know that despite Mumbai paying the highest by way of income tax that go to the state’s coffers it gets the least amount of amenities. India’s financial capital gets little support by way of infrastructure or financial assistance for a string of much-belated projects that could iron out most citizen issues. Right from more trains, to better roads, more reliable communication and conveyance modes that continue bearing the load of an ever-increasing influx of immigrants, the city needs to get its rightful share from the centre...and soon!
