Rich as can be, South Mumbai’s streets are peppered with heritage structures that range from David Sassoon Library, Elphinstone College, Institute of Science, Mumbai University, High Court, the Museum, the Gateway of India and so on and forth. Mumbai’s prime CST and the BMC headquarters, The Times of India building and the now-defunct Capital Theatre are all prime heritage sites mostly restored to their original glory. However, a little bit of public education in this regard is very much in order here.
