On the fashion front it was time for International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD), Bandra, under the supervision of Vivek Dhawan and Urmila Dhawan, to present Vibrance 2010 at St. Andrew’s auditorium. ‘Incredible India’ was the theme for this show from the graduating students of the institute. This is a land of diversity wherein lies unity; where we see love we see war; where there is peace there is solidarity; where there are deserts there are also rivers; we see shades of urban and rural life; various customs and traditions; cultures and their celebrations – and all this makes our land an amalgamation of all the above factors which blends out into various States, each with its unique culture, tradition and art – so you were told. You saw this blend bring alive the very essence of ‘Incredible India’ through the various collections: Cultures of India, Peaks of India, Rivers of India, Monuments of India, Deserts of India and Gen-Next India. The show, punctuated by music and dance performances, was choreographed by Utsav Dholakia and featured models like Aryan Vaid, Deepa Chari, Alesia Raut and Priyanka Shah. And the judges included Nisha Sagar, Yash Kotak and Aarti Vijay
