
Born in well-known and respectable Parsi Priest family of Surat, 77 year old Burjor trained in priesthood at the M.F. Cama Athornan Institute and became a Navar and Martab at the young age of 14 years. He stood first in the Avesta Phelvi in S.S.C. Examination of 1952. Thereafter he obtained his B.Sc (Hon. Degree in Chemistry and Physics and also his LL.B. Degree from Surat.
Being an outstanding student in his school and college career, young Burjor secured several scholarships and prizes in elocution competition and College Debates for which he won Gold Medals.
He passed the Solicitor Examination at the first attempt with flying colours and joined the well known legal firm M/s Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt and Caroe in 1962 and continues till today. He was a part-time Professor for 5 years at the Govt. Law College, Mumbai and taught Constitution of India, Constitutional Law and Companies Act. In 1973 the Government of India appointed him as a Notary Public for the Union of India and since then he is continuing to practice as a Notary Public to the satisfaction of all concerned.
At present he is attending to the legal matters of giant Corporations of Public & Private Sectors of our Country. He has specialized in Indirect Taxes, Banking Laws, Charitable Laws and Commercial Arbitration. Today he is the Senior partner of his renowned firm M/s Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe and recently he has completed 50 years of his legal practice as Advocate of High Court, Mumbai. Because of his honesty, integrity and hardwork, he has a large practice being very much in demand.
Antia firmly believes that a well-placed person should give back to the Society and therefore one should spare atleast 20% of his time, energy and money for needy members of our Society and to look after the Institutions left by our illustruous ancestor, and therefore he has embarked upon himself in social and charitable activities and made it his mission of his life.
He is a Trustee of more than a dozen Public Charitable Trusts such as Hospitals, Educational and Social Institutions. He was also a Trustee of Bombay Parsi Punchyat during the period 2004 to 2008. He is also a Trustee of our three Holy Atashbehrams - the Pak Iran Shah Atashbehram at Udwada and the Anjuman and Banaji Atash Behram in Mumbai and several Agiaries of Mumbai, Navsari, Surat and Pune.
He frequently writes in our local newspapers and gives lectures on our religion and community problems. Some of his lectures are printed in the form of booklets. On the invitation of Karachi Parsi Anjuman he gave lectures at Karachi and Lahore in Pakistan in the year 2000 which was highly appreciated by the Parsi Zoroastrians of Pakistan. He is the President of Navsari Parsi Assn. who distributed Rupees 0ne crore and Fifty Lacs to full-time practicing Priests who have completed 50 years of priesthood through the munificent donations given by late Mr. Naryman K. Dubash.
As one of the Executors of the Will of late Mr. Manekji Cawasji Sett, a sum of about Rs. 12 crores was donated to the Community institution and Rs. 8 crores were given to Bombay Parsi Punchayat Funds and Properties, Mumbai to provide 100 residential flats at Bombay to the poor and needy Zoroastrians which included 35 flats to practicing priests at Godrej Baug, about Rs. 2 crores to the B.D. Petit Parsi General Hospital for free treatment to priests and another Rs. 2 crores to Bhagarseth Anjuman Amelioration Fund. About 20 years ago, he started a Public Charitable Trust in the name of his parents for the welfare of not only human beings but also for plants, trees, animals and birds. He is donating about Rs.15 lakhs per year from the corpus of the said Trust.
He has given golden tips to our youngsters on How To Achieve Success in Life. For our Youth, he has 3 words of Counsel -"Work, Work, Work”. To achieve success and happiness in life, he always quotes, a very beautiful and meaningful poem.

Mr. Antia is doing yeomen services to our community and society at large and it can be said that he is a shining jewel of our community and society at large.
