Mr. Percy Jal Dajee comes from a priestly family and attributes his success in life to his daily prayers, visiting fire temple every day and paying his respect to Iranshah Saheb every month. He is a Commerce Graduate from Bombay University, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Fellow Member of the Institute of the Company Secretaries and an Associate Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. In addition to the above he is also a Bachelor of General Law. In view of his job profile, he continuously keeps abreast of recent notifications/amendments in various legislations.
During his over three decades of work experience, he has worked in various reputed organizations like Grindwell Norton Limited, The Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation Limited, Modi Xerox Limited, Atlas Copco India Limited. Currently he is the Director Finance and Company Secretary of De Beers India Private Limited, the world's largest Diamond Mining Company. He also sits on the Board of the other two De Beers Group Company. He has a vast experience in Project Finance, Corporate Restructuring, Taxation and Legal and Secretarial.
During his leisurely hours, he is an avid reader, watches movies and takes a keen interest in sports.
Mr. Dajee's message to the Parsi Zoroastrian youth is to study hard and work even harder. The Current competitive environment necessitates that the Parsi Zoroastrian youth are able to face competition at a professional level effectively and at the same time be able to stand on their feet without any "Support or Influence".
