In its 25-page Vachannama (manifesto), the Shiv Sena-BJP-RPI-A Mahayuti has tried to hard-sell its dream to make Mumbai dust free, construct four more dams for drinking water purposes, have telemedicine facility at BMC hospitals, build 14 new flyovers, have reservation for religious places, put BMC school textbooks online, start more AC BEST buses, give Mumbai Ratna award to prominent Mumbaikars, etc.
After having proudly proclaimed ‘Karun Dakhavle’ (We Did It), the Mahayuti has titled its manifesto as ‘Karun Dakhavnar” (We Shall Do It).

Wi-Fi at public places: (Not included earlier)
Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray announced the proposal wherein BMC shall examine the possibility of setting up Wi-Fi facilities for college students at prominent public places after taking into account security-related issues.
Water
Time-bound completion of Middle Vaitarna, Gargai, Pinjal and Daman Ganga projects by 2021 having capacity of 3,645 MLD of water, which will take care of city requirements till 2031. To stop water leakages and contamination, modern technologies of ‘Pipe in Pipe’ and ‘Microtunneling’ will be used to repair water pipelines.
Health
Telemedicine will be used to link up major BMC hospitals like KEM with municipal hospitals whereby medical advice of expert doctors can be availed by patients.
Generic medicines will be sold at cheaper rates at OPDs in municipal hospitals.
Health cards will be given to BPL category patients, which can be accessed at any municipal hospital.
Proposal for setting up medical college at one of its major municipal hospitals in suburban Mumbai.
Education
All textbooks used in BMC schools to be put online.
Special drive to increase number of Marathi schools.
All municipal schools to have computer labs.
Roads and flyovers
Construction of ducts in new roads for laying of pipelines and cables.
In order to ease traffic congestion, 14 new flyovers will be constructed, which includes the Jogeshwari-Goregaon flyover.
Sanitation
The proposed generation of 20 MWs of power from Gorai, Kanjurmarg and Mulund dumping grounds will be used in municipal offices, hospitals or sold to BEST.
Sewerage treatment
Treatment and recycling of waste water, which will be later made available to big industrial houses.
Will complete the Mumbai Waste Water Treatment project.
Flood control
Construction of pumping stations at Byculla, Mahul, Mogra, Gazdar Bund and Cleveland.
Widening and cleaning of three rivers of Mumbai, namely Oshiwara, Walbhat and Poisar
Development control rules
Permission will be granted on some plots of land, maidans and select roads for public celebrations, religious festivals and political events.
Reservation in DC rules for old places of religious worship.
Amnesty scheme for granting of Occupation Certificates for buildings constructed prior to 2001.
