Xerxes Vispi Dastur passed his I.C.S.E. Exams in 1986 from Greenlawns High School and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA) from 1991 to 1994. He is a partner in V.S. Dastur & Co., Chartered Accountants and D.J. Jasavala & Co., Chartered Accountants for the past 20 years. Due to his sharp entrepreneurial skills, he is the Vice Chairman and Hon. Treasurer of the Mumbai Chapter of World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce (WZCC). At the 10th World Zoroastrian Congress held in December 2013, Xerxes spoke on entrepreneurship and the WZCC.
He is the Chairman of the Managing Committee at the Ripon Club and a general committee member at Royal Bombay Yacht Club. He has served many prestigious projects like NEN (National Entrepreneurship Network) mentor project showcasing ‘How To Use The Best legal Entity for your Start up’ and conducted seminars at IIT Bombay with Prof. John Mullins and also NEN SAP Emerging mentor programme at SAP Labs, Bangalore.
Xerxes is an independent member of the firm of the Plante Moran Alliance in India and V.S. Dastur & Co., is now the latest alliance member in India. Plante & Moran Alliance is a group of independent accounting and professional service firms dedicated to helping member firms, better services to their clients through group synergies and by accessing the resources, expertise and select services and solutions of one of the largest accounting and consultancy firm in the United States. Xerxes guides them in strategic consultancy including business plan and sales strategy development. He advises new businesses on formation of corporations and business structures, drafting privacy policies and structuring commercial transactions.
He has chaired seminars on Parsi succession laws under the Indian Succession Act at the Ripon Club.
