Story Telling Session
Join story teller’s Katie Bagli and Usha Venkatraman at the Bhau Daji Lad Museum as they tell enthralling stories about trees, seeds and insects! The session will begin with a visit to the botanical garden next door (Rani Bagh), followed by a quick drawing activity where participants will be asked to draw imaginative insects!

Ira Mukhoty – Accidental Historian, will be speaking at Mumbai Local about her books Heroines: Powerful Indian Women of Myth and History and Daughters of the Sun: Empresses, Queens and Begums of the Mughal Empire. A session curated by Ranjit Hoskote, the talk by Ira will explore how women have been erased out of Indian history, why this is relevant for us today, and what we can perhaps do about it. She will also share stories from her research process.
