If acting is your passion, here’s your chance to train with the best in the theatre industry. After their success at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2013,
multi-award winning director and producer, Divya Palat returns with IMPS — An Acting and Improvisational Certificate Theatre Course, which teaches confidence, spontaneity and creativity through fun theatre games. You can register for the beginner course or the professional workshop. And, if you’re an aspiring director, you can register for her Direction 101 and 102 workshops.
Divya says, “With IMPS, I am lucky to have the opportunity to teach and meet so many new and incredibly talented people and now with the Direction Course, I can mould and give a platform to some fabulous, new directors. IMPS and the Direction Courses are about finding your voice and being able to tell your story. You may work in a bank, study or even be a doctor, but IMPS allows you to go ahead and express yourself creatively.”
All classes are taught by Divya personally and the class will culminate in a grand finale professional show, where scholarships and certificates will be awarded. Selected participants will get the chance to star in two grand shows at the Comedy Store. The class size is limited, so hurry and register soon!
