EXHIBITION
COLOURS THAT CONVEY PERSONAL FEELINGS
Well-known artist Sangeeta Babani is holding a solo show titled Myriad Feelings. As the title suggests, the paintings displayed will be about the feelings generated through various emotional upheavals. Each painting is subconsciously a motivated image provoking the beginning of a feeling. Speaking about her exhibition, Sangeeta says, “My feelings help me to inspire and create. Most of my work involves the creation of paintings that are essentially subtle confessions that evoke feelings of love, pain, fear and ecstasy. They perform the role of a conveyor of personal feelings through colours.”

GROUP EXHIBITION AT CYMROZA ART GALLERY

Café Coffee Day (CCD) has introduced a delicious new beverage to its menu called Crunchy Frappe. This drink, priced at Rs 79 consists of the divine mixture of crunchy Oreo cookies dunked in a rich creamy chocolaty meltdown. A special Crunchy Combo has also been introduced offering Crunchy Frappe along with CCD’s popular Chilli Cheese Toastizza at `99. K. Ramakrishnan, president of marketing for CCD, says, “We firmly believe that customer delight is an outcome of serving tasty and quality products to our customers. In order to achieve this, we have constantly time and again added new food and beverages to our menu. Crunchy Frappe too is introduced keeping in mind our customers’ taste palate and choices. DIG IN TO NATURAL ICE CREAM
Pabrai’s Fresh & Naturelle has introduced a range of 100% natural ice cream, with alphonso mango, kala jamun and lychee flavours being their specialties for the season. We suggest getting the mango flavoured ice cream in particular, made with real pieces and pulp, as well as the kala jamun and lychee, because they’re only available till the end of June. Founder, Kunal Pabrai says, “We want everyone, from a young child to a grown up to an elderly person, to enjoy and relive the fun of these summer fruits. AOI INTRODUCES TWO NEW MENUS
Aoi, Bandra’s contemporary Japanese restaurant, has launched two unique culinary initiatives in the form of the Aoi You Menu and the Aoi New Menu. In keeping with the experimental spirit of their cuisine, the Aoi team presents over 30 new dishes which push the culinary envelope with crazy and edgier sushi options, stir fries, soups and mains. Mitesh Rangras, owner of Aoi, says, “The Aoi You Menu is an initiative we took to connect with our customers on a deeper level and to involve them in not only the consumption, but also the actual creation of our contemporary Japanese cuisine. We were inundated with recipes by the dozen, but had to zero in on five, which will now be a permanent feature on the menu. We plan to do this every season.”
