EXHIBITION

A limited edition art soirée
The Serigraph Studio is a publishing firm with its core focus area being the publishing of contemporary Indian art prints, mainly ‘Serigraphs’, in signed, limited editions by established senior artists and promising young talent. Owner and founder, Lavesh Jagasia, came up with this studio to provide collectors with an option to acquire works of art in the form of fine art prints, which are regarded as multiple originals alongside the singular original works. The studio is hosting The Bombay Art Morning which will exhibit limited edition serigraphs of established artists like Jehangir Sabavala, Sakti Burman, Jogen Chowdhury, S.H. Raza, Ram Kumar, Paritosh Sen, Ganesh Halio and Lalu Prasad Shaw, open for general public to appreciate and acquire the art at affordable rates. Elaborating on the studio, Lavesh says, “The Serigraph Studio is a limited edition art studio that houses contemporary Indian art prints, mainly serigraphs. The studio collaborates with the artist to publish, release and distribute a complete edition of such fine art prints, which are signed by the artist and printed by him in limited edition exclusively for us.”

Book On The Wall
Want your favourite story mounted on your wall as a poster? Check out a unique exhibition at Anemos. UK based artists have transformed the stories that have fired your imagination, from classics to best-sellers, in the form of posters that you can put up on the walls of your room. The Narrators have been instrumental in bringing these posters for the first time in India. These framed posters carry the entire story on a satiny canvas, with a tasteful illustration making it a unique way to exhibit what you love to read on your walls. Reshma Jain, from The Narrators, says, “The event will showcase The Narrators’ wide range of imported book posters specially designed and printed on lush, satin-finish, non-reflective paper. The entire text of a book flows around the canvas to create an iconic image from the story in the negative space. From classics such as Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice to newbies such as the vampire-themed Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith, there are many categories to choose from. There’s fiction, non-fiction and even The New Testament and Little Prince.”
