Multi cuisine restaurant La Kebabiya always offers delectable treats and now makes it better with their new and improved dessert menu which includes specials such as New York Cheesecake, Chocolate Fudge Cake with Ice Cream and Deep Dish Apple Pie. Shakil Bhure, Managing Director, Longworth Hospitality & Entertainment Company Pvt. Ltd. and Brand Owner of La Kebabiya says, “We decided to enter the dessert arena because our customers craved either a fire-melting chocolate or a dessert that heated things up. We developed desserts keeping in mind our motto of ‘We Can’t Stand Bland,’ and I believe we succeeded in doing the same.”

Appetisers @ Malt & Pepper
Malt & Pepper introduce their new festive appetiser menu. Ditch the mains and indulge in a number of special dishes that are good enough to make your meal. You can choose from specials such as Grilled Prawns with soy-wasabi emulsion, Tomato, Basil & Olive Oil Bruschetta, Fig & Olive Crostini, Baked Samosa with potato & caramelised onions, Mushrooms with olive oil, garlic and parsley, Baked corn & cheese rolls, Kung pao baby corn and water chestnuts, Grilled chicken and Sundried Tomato Crostini, Fried minced chicken meatballs, Oriental fried chicken wings, Crispy Calamari and lots more. Owner Anuja Jatkar says, “Malt & Pepper opened just a month ago. I thought of introducing the appetisers first as they go really well with the cocktails. Malt & Pepper is a resto-bar and the bar is on the first floor. There is also a live DJ on weekends. We have an extensive range of cocktails that will go well with these delicious finger foods.”

Lunch @ Neel
Neel at Tote on the Turf is now open for lunch. So whether it’s a casual meal or a formal lunch that you’re looking for, the restaurant has something for everyone. Headed by Chef Mukhtar Qureshi from Lucknow, the menu has a host of kebabs such as Sofiyani Paneer Tikka, Jaituni Kumbh Tikka, Adrak Ke Panje, Batti Ki Kare and lots more. They also have strong vegetarian section as well as a host of desserts. Owner Rahul Akerkar tells us, “We have tried to keep to the integrity of traditional cooking techniques albeit with some innovation and creativity to make the food at Neel just perfect for lunch.”

BBQ @ Crepe Station
If you’ve got a sudden hankering for BBQ fare, head down to Crepe Station this month. The casual dining joint is hosting a BBQ festival where you can choose from barbecue items and specials made with baby potatoes, cottage cheese, babycorn, zucchini, mushrooms, jacket potatoes, chicken wings, chicken gizzards and more. Everything is served with green salad, potatoes and BBQ sauce. You can also choose your own marinating options such as Continental, English, Chinese, Malaysian, Thai, Pahadi, Tandoori and more. Owner Ravi Sharma tells us, “With the rainy weather, nothing goes better than a BBQ. Hence we decided to have a range of BBQ specials ranging from Indian and Continental.”

Champagne Brunch @ Koh
For a taste of a delectable Sunday brunch, head down to Koh. If you’re in the mood for luxury, this is the perfect place to indulge with a spread of eggs made to order, soups, entrees and desserts. In association with Moet and Chandon Brut, the buffet includes specials such as Chef Ian Kittichai’s signature Hot Stone Rice and Thai Tea’ramisu. At `3,000 per head + taxes, you can sip on your champagne and enjoy a delectable spread (`2,650 without champagne). Chef Ian Kittichai says, “I love the brunch tradition in New York City and I wanted our guests at Koh to share this experience as well.”

Bento Boxes @ Lotus Blossom
Thai caterers Lotus Blossom have introduced a choice collection of Bento Boxes for you to choose from for your next party. For a limited period of time, the boxes can help you host a hassle free party where everyone gets a full meal. Owner Radhika Khanna tells us, “The Bento Box includes a starter, stir fry, rice and curry. I thought of introducing the Bento Boxes as they are hassle free, fuss free-and microwave friendly. You get a readymade meal box which u can heat in your microwave and eat. These are perfect for parties or corporate lunch meals. You also get cutlery with it, so you really don’t have to do anything.” The vegetarian Thai Bento Box costs `200 and the non-vegetarian box costs `230. There’s a minimum order of twenty boxes.

If you want a short getaway this weekend, head to Valley of Flowers with Jumpstart. Akul Tripathi tells us, “The Garhwal Valley in Uttaranchal is India’s Valley Of Flowers with a variety of Himalayan flowers on display. It boasts of a beautiful spread of post-monsoon seasonal flowers unique to the area.” There’s also the Pateshwar hills nearby, strewn with ancient temples and marvelous sculptures with engravings in the Modi script.
