Cafe Bean Garu presents a new range of South Indian curries, packed with a Continental twist. Co-owner Ambar Mahajan says, “The curries will be a permanent feature to our menu. They are from four different regions. Nellore Pulusu is from Nellore while Malabari curry is from Malabar and is a cashew and coconut milk based concoction. Chettinad curry is a blend of chetinnad spices and the stew includes vegetables and cream.” They are served with coconut chutney, banana crisps and a choice of idli, sponge dosa or steamed rice.

The sizzlers are perfect to complement the wet, chilly season with specials such as Crispy Crusted Chicken drizzled in mustard cream sauce, Grilled Basa in baja sauce, Grilled Stuffed Chicken smeared with Sri Lankan sambal, paneer, coriander and jalapeno with curried cheese sauce, Spinach Cannelloni and more. Manager Abhijeet Shembekar tells us, “OOTB started off as a sizzler restaurant and the menu was later expanded to include pasta and barbeque. Colours of Life
The Cancer Patients Aid Association along with Cymroza Art Gallery presents their seventh annual art exhibition. Titled ‘Colours of Life’ the exhibition will include works from 139 artists including Ajay De, Akbar Padamsee, Arzan Khambatta, Bina Aziz, Brinda Chudasama Miller, Charan Sharma, Datta Bansode, Gurcharan Singh, H.R. Das, Haku Shah, Hema Joshi, Jaideep Mehrotra, Kalpana Shah, Kishor Roy, Lalitha Lajmi and more. There’s also a ‘Children’s Education Fund’ launched by CPAA Ceo and Founder Chairman Y.K. Sapru. Curator Piali Syam says, “There are a lot of skilled artists across India who have not had much exposure. I scout around for such artists. Some of the upcoming artists we’ve included for this show are Ananya Banerjee, Ananta Mandal, Jagannath Paul, Sujit Roy Barman, among others.”
