The Indian restaurant at the Trident has a Rajasthani thali special, depicting flavours all the way from Rajasthan. The thali includes specials such as Laal Maas, Baati Churma and Gattey Ka Saag along with a host of others. Food and Beverage Manager, Udiksha Panshikar tells us, “Maya being a restaurant specialising in regional Indian cuisine and with us located right in the heart of the Bandra Kurla Complex, next to the Diamond Bourse, where a large part of the clientele are actually from Rajasthan, we thought it would be best to bring them genuine cuisine from their homeland. Rajasthani cuisine also provides a wide variety of vegetarian options for our guests.”

MidSummer Wine and Cheese
Good Earth Winery gives you a chance to throw a wonderful wine and cheese party and beat the summer heat. At your time and convenience, they show up at your party venue with a supply of Aarohi — a crisp, cool Sauvignon Blanc as well as Antaraa — a Ca-Shiraz blend which is the first red wine designed to be served chilled. Chef Rajesh Ratna tells us, “Escobar has 77 ft long exclusive bar serving a variety of beverages. To serve finger food with those nice drinks we started the Spanish concept and planned a mouthwatering global tapas menu. We serve tapas from different cuisine. We have Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican as well as Indian tapas in our collection which is appreciated by everyone's palate.”

Smooth Mango Festival
The refurbished restobar at The Shalimar Hotel, Smooth, introduces a mango based liquids menu which includes mocktails as well as cocktails and desserts. Food and Beverage Manager, Deepak Varunkar tells us, “The king of fruits is associated with a large number of desserts. We’ve made some unique mocktails and cocktails by adding a few things to mango to make it more interesting. Those looking for cocktails can choose from variety such as mango daiquiri mango kamikaze and more. Some of the desserts on the menu are mango mousse, custard, falooda and gateaux.”
