The culinary heart of aamchi Mumbai lies in its authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. 1BHK (Brew House Kitchen) introduces the Maharashtrian Set Lunch Thali from Mondays to Thursdays. Chef Mithilesh Tembe has specially curated the thalis. The Lalit Mumbai is going to host a ten day Executive Chef Pop Up called, “Amar Sonar Bangla” from 25 Aug – 3 Sept 2018 at their Pan Indian Restaurant Baluchi. Mumbaikars will get to try out authentic Bengali dishes from the only woman national award winning chef Madhumita Mohanta.
Bengali cuisine is known for its subtle (yet sometimes fiery) flavors, and its spread of confectioneries and desserts. With an emphasis on fish, vegetables and lentils are served with rice as a staple dish.
