This August, Head Chef Raymond of Hakkasan, India, presents an exclusive selection of vegetarian dishes prepared using ingredients sourced from around the world. With the approaching festivities, diners can enjoy a myriad of vegetarian favourites at Hakkasan with friends and family.

Choose from small eats like Mapo sauce dumpling, Grilled vegetable Shanghai dumpling, and much more, and wok dishes like stir-fry lotus root and asparagus in black pepper, Home-style braised aubergine with Shanghai toban chili sauce, and others. Pair your wok dishes with rice and noodle options, and end with egg-free desserts like chocolate mousse accompanied by mandarin sorbet.

Maharashtrian Thali

The culinary heart of aamchi Mumbai lies in its authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. 1BHK (Brew House Kitchen) introduces the Maharashtrian Set Lunch Thali from Mondays to Thursdays. Chef Mithilesh Tembe has specially curated the thalis. Start with Kothimbir Wadi, Bread and Rice preparations like Rice Bhakri and Steamed with Takachi Mirchi, Mirchi Dahi, and Raw Mango and Papaya Salad. Vegetarians can choose from Malvani Kalya Chanancha Sambar to Bharleli Vaangi and Massorachi Amti. Non-vegetarians can indulge in Saoji Chicken Curry, or Sukka Chicken. End with Ukdiche Modak

The Lalit Mumbai is going to host a ten day Executive Chef Pop Up called, “Amar Sonar Bangla” from 25 Aug – 3 Sept 2018 at their Pan Indian Restaurant Baluchi. Mumbaikars will get to try out authentic Bengali dishes from the only woman national award winning chef Madhumita Mohanta.

Bengali cuisine is known for its subtle (yet sometimes fiery) flavors, and its spread of confectioneries and desserts. With an emphasis on fish, vegetables and lentils are served with rice as a staple dish.

A few signature dishes to try at the Pop Up are: Gondhoraj Mangsher Chop, Channar Chop, Kesari Ras Malai, Dhanepata Bata Diye Murgi, Rajbhog and Kesari Ras Malai, Chicken Dak Bangla, Malai Curry, Chingri Batti Chochori, Elish Barisholi, Jinge Aloo Poshto, Choler Dal, Railway Mutton Curry, Ghee Bhaat, Gurer Payesh and Mishti Doi.
