Beer and burger fest
The best way to set the mood of a weekend meal right is to grab a beer and burger. Head to Woodside Inn’s Colaba and Andheri outlets, for their month-long Beer and Burger Festival. This is their 11th edition and each year the restaurant curates the festival based on a theme; the theme this year is ‘Hidden Gems’.
Standing true to the theme, the specially crafted menu features some of the choicest ingredients across the globe. A thoroughly researched menu brings some really hidden gems like Croatia’s Ajvar or China’s Siachun sauce or rarely used Morning Glory herb or Ethiopian Coffee Roasted Chicken, Woodside Inn takes us on a gastronomical world tour.
What’s more? The upcoming International Beer Day on August 3 makes it even more fitting to visit the place, as it has a specially brewed beer, limited only till the festival lasts. Under the name ‘Otto Pilot’, a specially crafted beer by Gateway Brewing Co, this is a zesty Gose beer, with zero presence of the marquee ingredient in beer, Hops. This unique recipe makes beer less pungent and bitter, making its pairing with burgers even more delicious. Served stylishly in Spiegelau glass, beer at Woodside Inn during this festival is a treat.
If you still have space after the over-sized burger and a huge glass of beer, the menu offers only one dessert option, which is again in Burger form. A Polish-style cake, Babka, is the base patty for this dessert burger. Rum-soaked Babka is garnished with spiced nuts, pralines and candied orange; this dessert is not overtly sweet and it retains the flavours of beer and burgers.
Woodside Inn’s Hidden Gems-Beer & Burger festival breaks the monotony of takeaway burgers with flat patties and fizzy colas, with its uniquely curated burgers and beer.

Minuses Limited variety for vegetarians;
Price Rs 595 onwards (without alcohol) and Rs 800 (with alcohol)
