On the fourth floor of Gitaneel Arcade in Bandra is the SNOB Bar and Lounge, a new hotspot on Bandra’s late-night party scene. SNOB’s airy, spacious interiors (4000 square feet!) offer several cosy booths to get comfortable, a dance floor with a strip of lights on the ceiling (that when lit create a brilliant and colourful pathway across the room), and an exciting selection of food and beverages. This high-end luxury lounge offers a great location to unwind after work, with your friends. Go there to look and feel your best.

The ambience

SNOB boasts of being the go-to destination for Mumbai’s glitterati. It has used its space well, and has several comfortable booths where large groups can sit together and enjoy the night. The dance floor is headed by a platform where experienced DJs make it impossible not to dance. Friendly staff and security make the space safe and welcoming for all. A separate hookah room is available as well. The mood lighting combined with the unique LED panel above the dance floor creates a sense of opulence and luxury.

Food and drink

Where SNOB really shines is its wide range of delicious food from several different cultures, from Pan-Asian to Mediterranean and even Indian. We ate a smoked mango chilli chicken served to us on dry ice (Rs 380), orange soy lamb (which was a flambé with orange juice and dark soy sauce). The lamb was medium done, so that diners can experience the quality and taste of the meat along with the delicious flavours and sauces that complemented it (Rs 480), and our personal favourite, the crispy feta parcel (Rs 340), which is feta cheese wrapped in a filo pastry, paired with argula. The texture was incredible; crispy on the outside and soft within. The walnuts in the dish added a crunch, while the cherry tomatoes balanced the taste of the cheese. We also loved the Sriracha Tahina Cottage Cheese (Rs 350). The blend of the two sauces gave the cottage cheese an exciting taste—and the cottage cheese was as soft as a cloud.

We also enjoyed three cocktails: the SNOB Temptation, a bourbon house reduction with spice and foam, the fruity For She Had Eyes, a watermelon, lime, and lychee purée with champagne, and the Sweet Surrender, a cocktail with vodka and mascarpone cheese, and fruit juices that make it the perfect drink for someone with a sweet tooth.
