Flavours of Indonesia at Sofitel
Sofitel is playing host to chef Isep Hidayatullohis, who has curated the Flavours of Indonesia festival at the hotel. The festival will showcase the diverse flavours and inspirations of Indonesian cuisine with delicacies such as Nasi Goreng Kampung, Udang Bumbu Kecap and Gado-Gado, as well as live counters. Pichwai paintings by Suvigya Sharma
Suvigya Sharma, who creates miniature art, is exhibiting a collection of Pichwai paintings that are embellished with 24-carat-gold and semi-precious stones. The paintings celebrate the ancient art form of pichwai and have a contemporary touch. Talking about the exhibition, Suvigya tells us, “The paintings are a series of fusion artworks on handmade canvas and wooden panels, which will blend into not just contemporary, but also traditional Indian home décor as well.”
