New menu at Vedge

Vedge has introduced a new menu that features exquisite preparations from around the world. You can enjoy dishes such as fully loaded nachos, a range of pizzas, Singaporean street noodles and Indian desserts such as the Manglorean gadbad. Aditya Sawant, owner of Vedge, tells us, “While the focus is on popular international dishes, we have also paid special attention to Indian recipes and have something for everyone — even children, with our kiddie menu.” The Special Junior’s Mini Menu will feature mini pizzas, nachos and peanut butter sandwiches.

Celebrate Navroze at Café at the NCPA
Since Navroze is just around the corner, chef Farrokh Khambata has curated a traditional Parsi Bhonu menu at Café at the NCPA. The buffet meal includes Achar/ Saria/ Rotli, Patra Ni Kolmi, Cashew Chicken, Leg Of Ham with Peach and Prune Stuffing, Bharuchi Akoori with Brun Pao, Lagan Nu Stew, Patra Nu Paneer, Pankho Crusted Kehar Sangri Ke Kofte, Mutton Berry Pulao and Dhansak Dal. Farrokh tells us, “Parsis are known for their love for food! I have picked each dish keeping certain ingredients and specialities that they relish in mind. This Navroze, embark on a gastronomical journey and pamper your tastebuds, as you enjoy authentic Parsi food along with your friends and family.” The meal is priced at Rs 1,850, exclusive of taxes.

Breakfast at Terttulia
Terttulia has launched a special breakfast menu called Breakfast of Champions, which offers a delicious range of dishes such as Crème Brûlée French toast, Eggs Benedict, homemade granola, breakfast bagel sandwiches and Eggs Florentine, along with fresh juices and smoothies. Kamal Thapa, executive chef at Terttulia, says, “Whether you’re a light eater, an egg lover or have a sweet tooth, we give you delicious food, fresh juices, smoothies and sweet & savoury waffles and pancakes, along with a basket of freshly made bread to carry home.”

Childrens menu at Sancho’s
Sancho’s has introduced a special menu for children, which doubles up as a paper mat and consists of food images along with trivia, an adventure trail and a colouring box. Chef Vikas Seth tells us, “We’ve spent a lot of time and energy in order to achieve the perfect taste, so that your child can enjoy every single dish on our menu. A few dishes such as nachitos, cheese fries, bean & cheese burrito and chicken fingers are a must try.”

Breakfast specials at Out of the Blue
They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and so, eat breakfast like a king at Out of the Blue, which has introduced a special breakfast menu. Chandon and GourmetItUp

#UNGENDER photo exhibition at High Street Phoenix

High Street Phoenix is showcasing #UNGENDER — a photo exhibition that has been curated by Elle magazine, as part of the Focus Photography Festival. Rajendra Kalkar, senior centre director at The Phoenix Mills Limited, tells us, “High Street Phoenix has always encouraged art and culture and we are delighted to lend our location to an art project that combines fashion, photography and culture for a bigger cause. The exhibition allows us to lend our support to the issue of gender stereotyping. Keeping recent events in mind, this is definitely a cause that our society needs to feel strongly about, and kudos to the festival for attempting to shed light on this.”
