You can look forward to delicious preparations from Chinese, Thai and Indo-Malay cuisines. Rahul Khanna & Kabir Suri, directors of Azure Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. and promoters of Mamagoto, tell us, “We have always done things differently. Our philosophy is to play with food; experiment and reinvent ourselves. MamaTiffin is perfect for a quick weekday lunch meetings or to catch up with friends.” The lunch is priced between Rs 349 and Rs 559.

Diwali Celebrations at Mad Over Donuts

Jashn-e-kabab at Neel
Neel has introduced a delectable menu of vegetarian and non-vegetarian kebabs for the festive season. Mukhtar Quereshi, chef at Neel, tells us, “We are celebrating the diversity and versatility of the varied flavours of Indian kababs, with Jashn-e-Kabab. Barbeque Nation is partnering with UK’s curry king, Pat Chapman, for a food festival aptly titled, Pat Chapman Grills the World. Vikram Vikas Verma, head of marketing at Barbeque Nation, tells us, “Pat Chapman’s range of 14, effervescent marinades will be introduced across the country, marking the entry of a completely new genre of barbequed food.” The food extravaganza will feature a Yorkshire marinade, Worcestershire marinade, Spanish Valencia marinade, Lebanon-Arabian marinade, Persian marinade, American Texican marinade, Albuquerque Atomic marinade, New Orleans Incendiary marinade, Aztec-Mole Poblano marinade and Jamaican Jerk marinade along with Mighty Hot Mai Thai, Chinese Sichuan and Indonesian Bumbu kacang recipes. The meal is priced at Rs 1,600 per head.

The collection plays on the concept of the lightness of being and focuses on celebrations. Pallavi Vadhia, the gallery manager, tells us, “Rehwa returns to Artisans’ with an irresistible and traditional collection of Maheshwari sarees, dupattas, exotic stoles and shawls for the festive season, each with the interpretation of vibrant colours in sheer silk, cotton, organza and silk-wool.”

Time After Time by Juhi Kulkarni

Having exhibited her work in cities such as London and Nagpur, photography artist Juhi Kulkarni is in Mumbai to showcase her latest collection, Time After Time, which comprises of exquisite portraits of women and depicts an array of emotions, moods, spiritual questions and answers in context of space, time and self. These portraits are translations of her observations from meditation, as well as Puranic and Vedic scriptures. Juhi tells us, “A photograph is a very powerful tool of expression and it brings attention and awareness to whatever is photographed. I try to provide visuals as a means of education to imbibe a deeper impact on your mind.” Juhi also works with an NGO and part of the sale proceedings from the show will go to Gift a Smile, a project that works towards child education for the less fortunate.
