Unbeatable Cocktail hour at Trikaya

Head over to Cupid, at Trikaya, for their tempting cocktail hour. For Rs 1,000 (plus taxes), you can enjoy an unlimited flow of drinks. Sahil Saigal, director at Trikaya explains, “The cocktail hour at Trikaya is a great deal, where you can drink to your heart’s content and enjoy an unlimited flow of selected cocktails and beer, every night, for just Rs 1,000.” Drinks include fresh fruit daiquiris, margaritas, mojitos, caipirioskas, sangria and beer.

New flavours at Wafflist
Bandra-based waffle store, Wafflist, has added a brand new flavour to their menu. You can now look forward to Banoffee waffles to satisfy your sweet cravings. Nishita Biyani, the owner of the store, tells us, “I’ve always loved this flavour and this was one of the reasons I decided to add it to the menu at Wafflist.”

New cocktail menu at Singkong
Singkong has introduced a new menu dedicated to pan-Asian cocktails including Beijing Belini, made with sparkling wine, lychee syrup and lychee fruit; Thai Basil Martini, made with vodka, fresh basil leaves, coconut syrup and pineapple juice; Kumquet Mojito, made with white rum, mint leaves, lime wedges and pickled kumquat; Singkong’s Martini, made with espresso vodka, old monk, dash of cream and cinnamon powder; Oriental Sunset, made with vodka, cranberry juice, passion fruit juice, fresh ginger and grenadine syrup and Wasabi Mary, made with vodka, tomato juice and wasabi along with a range of mocktails such as Oriental Cooler and Asian Fever. Sameer Uttamsingh, brand manager at Singkong, tells us, “We would like to give our customers the experience of classic cocktails with pan-Asian influences, where the drinks consists of local flavours that are intriguing, fresh and put together with high culinary precision.”

Sunday Brunch at Nido
Head to Nido with your family to enjoy their Sunday brunch, called La Familia Sunday. You can enjoy a five-course meal and while your kids will get to bake their own cookies and flat breads at a live station. Chef Vikas, executive chef at Nido tells us, “La Familia Sunday is the perfect brunch, which includes a five-course meal, as well as an anti-griddle plate for children and they can make their own frozen lollipops and freeze fruits dipped in chocolate. Come experience an enchanting afternoon with your family this weekend.” The brunch is priced at Rs 2,795 (with alcohol) and Rs 2,495 (without alcohol).

This weekend, Perveez Aggarwal, who has been very successful in reviving the traditional Parsi style Gara embroidery, is exhibiting her latest collection called My Beautiful Embroideries.
