The Loft and Gallery Seven Art present Recycled Identities II, a solo show by the North America based artist Khalil Chistee. Says Aparajita Jain, director of Seven Art, "We are really happy to collaborate with The Loft. Khalil’s works are hard-hitting and lyrical. They deal with the many layers that exist in humans as well as the society around us. He has appropriately defined this as the 'plastic age' and his works represent his tongue - in - cheek view of the world. We have received a phenomenal response from the viewers in Delhi and are hoping that the show will stir up the same reaction in Mumbai." The event showcases figures made with trash bags, plastic sheets and used grocery bags.

Zoya Presents Festive 2010
The new collections are by Priyadarshini Rao and Shaheen Abbas. The silhouettes are easy on the eyes and extremely wearable, in Priyadarshini's signature style. They are timeless and do not conform to occasions. Pleats and ruffles add a flirty twist to an otherwise very grown up collection. Shaheen Abbas' collection brings both carving stones and jewellery together, to create a unique work of art in each piece. Naturally carved stones like lapis, turquoise, coral, mother of pearl and green onyx are used with hand cut jaali and filligiri work and offset with an antique diamonte look. According to Jyoti Gwalani of Zoya," If you are looking for an ensemble that lets you re-live a dream you may have long forgotten, then these new collections by Priyadarshini Rao and Shaheen Abbas are just for you.”
