The Pantry is screening three short films – Pentecoast, Breathing Chamber and Khataara — in association with Mac Productions and the Shamiana Short Film Club. Pentecoast, directed by Peter McDonald, is about an Irish altar boy Damien, who accidentally knocks Father O’Toole off the altar and as a result, not allowed to watch football.
Breathing Chamber, directed by Carlos Alejandro Marulanda, revolves around a boy who spends his days in front of a television, engulfed by the distorted images of the outside world and the ghostly visits of his family. Khataara, directed by Divyansh Ganjoo, is a story about a young driving instructor, Sukhi, who shares a strong bond with his old family car and cannot part with it. So, sit back and enjoy the filmy weekend at The Pantry! Entry to the event is free.
