Shalvi Mangaokar finds out just how many fun things Play Clan has to offer
This very popular store from Delhi decided to open its doors to the Mumbai crowd two weeks ago. Situated in Bandra, the store is funky and clearly a lot of fun. As you enter, you see a relatively small room, which is well designed with tons of catchy merchandise.
The store has a lot of playful stuff which you would definitely want to take a look at. The funky designs on the T-shirts (`995), bags (`1,095), sneakers, lamps, graphic novels, cushions, journals and more, will make you want to buy at least one of them. To add to the already on-going Rajnikanth craze, they have unique Rajnikanth journals (`295) which are a must buy. Besides that the CD’s, jewelery, diaries and stationary (`200) are also worth a look.
Play Clan is energetic and the staff is friendly. It’s unisex, which again is a plus. So both, men and women get the opportunity to pick up some of their wacky stuff. The prices are moderate and such stuff is unusual, so you could think of it as a ‘fun’ investment. They also have funny boxers in various colours. Along with that there are crazy frames and pictures that you could pick up and decorate your room or even your work desk.
Play Clan’s designs are completely different from what you see elsewhere, which by the way happens to be its USP. The variety in the collection is also very fascinating. So if you’re in the mood to go shop for some crazy stuff, Play Clan should be on your list.
