A rtist G.A. Dandekar is showcasing his recent work, featuring rural scenes from India, colourful celebrations and his representation of the way people interact with nature, at Jehangir Art Gallery. He tells us, “My present exhibition reflects my views and interpretations about these things; it’s a humble effort to capture the scenery. I hope that art critics, art lovers, collectors, artists and students appreciate the effort! Every artist and creates things that are a part of the impression of his surroundings, nature and culture, and I believe that an artist’s efforts, consistency and expressions project these impressions through forms, textures and colours. My paintings are impressions of my experience of culture.”
