Clutr free shopping
Want to shop online? Dev Goswami takes a look at the newly launched website, freecultr.com
Topless men and pretty girls… freecultr.com sure knows how to get attention. Not to distract from the wares on display, there are just three links on the page. The website is neatly divided into three categories for you to choose from men, women and shop by look. While the men’s and women’s categories are quite obvious, the shop by look category is a really nice addition to the website. It gives you the option of choosing your clothes based on three looks – Preppy, Casual & Cool or Layered Love. While the former look is meant for men, the latter two are for women. Once you choose the look you want to shop for, a page depicting a model in the complete look pops up. All you have to do is then choose the sizes and colours. For the fashionably challenged, this could be a godsend!
If you browse through the sections however, you won’t find a large number of designs. Each and every t-shirt, shirt or top is plain, but available in a lot of colours. For men there are crew neck t-shirts in regular as well as slim fit options (`499), polos (`749) and casual shirts (`1,299 onwards). Girls will like the extensive range of tops that include v-necks and scoop necks (`499). The fabric of the tops is excellent and we found the quality quite impressive.
You will also find winter wear in the form of pullovers, sleeveless sweaters and cardigans (`1,299 onwards) for both men and women. A note of caution though, some of the colour options are a little drab.
Overall, our experience with freecultr.com was easy, hassle-free and clutter-free. A few clicks here and there is all that you need and while you might not shop here if you are looking for party wear, for normal everyday clothes, we recommend logging in.
