Yamini Walia tells you why you shouldn’t miss out on Srushti, Saurabh Kadam’s exhibition
Art lovers, save the date for a painting exhibition by a young Nashik-based artist and a graduate of Sir J.J. School of Arts, Saurabh Kadam, at Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery. Vishwanath Sable, dean at Sir J.J. School of Arts, will inaugurate the exhibition in the presence of several dignitaries.
Saurabh, who loves nature, has presented his work at several solo and group art exhibitions in galleries across Mumbai and Pune and has received a warm response from art lovers and patrons alike. His style is realistic and his paintings depict beautiful sceneries and marvels of nature.
The exhibition, titled Srushti, highlights the panorama of nature and its extravagance in Saurabh’s own unique style. The artist tells us, “My recent show, Srushti, incorporates vivid panoramic expressions of the grandeur of nature in relevant perspectives. These paintings display my desire to adorn my canvas with the wealth of nature and its beautiful treasures.” The exhibition aims to spread awareness amongst the different sections of society about the importance of the conservation of nature as well as the need to protect it from external hazards such as pollution, deforestation and rapid urbanisation.
Some of Saurabh’s latest creative endeavours such as Road on green carpet, Brown Mountain, Tree on green carpet, Behind the tree and In front of the shadow, will be displayed at the exhibition too.
