A music weekend
If you are an ardent music lover and appreciate new talent, make sure you head to Mehboob Studio this Saturday. Live from The Console, an initiative by Oranjuice and Day 1 (Sony Music Entertainment), is back with Rowson’s Reserve Smooth Spaces. They have an interesting line up of eclectic blues, funk, jazz, a documentary on Miles Davis, international music artists who will surely give your weekend the much needed music therapy. You can watch The Miles Davis Story (2001) who was one of the most identifiable and misunderstood pop icons of the 20th century, catch performances by Full Moon Rising, an international music project that focuses on bringing human empowerment through thought provoking creations; The Naina Kundu Trio, an inventive R&B and funk band that thrives on an energetic set and improvisational spaces and you also groove to the jazz rock originals performed by the Indo-German Max Clouth Trio with Max Clouth, the guitarist from Germany, Karl Peters and Benny Soans on bass and drums from India.
