If you’re a fan of electronic music, you don’t need an introduction to Tomorrowland. The popular Electronic Dance Music (EDM) festival, which takes place in Belgium every year, is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary this year. And you can experience it here in Mumbai! Unite: The Mirror to Tomorrowland is a live simulcast, which will be showcased in the city. Fans will get the opportunity to catch music legends such as Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike on a big screen.
Shailendra Singh, joint managing director at Percept Limited, tells us, “Dance music has the power to unite people around the world. It is a language of raw energy and cuts across geographical borders. Over the past decade, Tomorrowland has set a trend by uniting the entire world through dance music, and has been a great source of inspiration for us. The Tomorrowland live stream experience will help take our goal to unite the world to the next level.”
Following a Fan Park concept and elevating the experience on the ground, the whole simulcast promises to be an exciting affair. The special effects, lights, CO2, lasers, pyrotechnics and sound will be in sync with what is happening at the festival ground. This will indeed be a unique, virtual 360° live digital experience for all music lovers. Shailendra adds, “The live stream has the potential to unite different forms of dance music from across the globe. It’s a creatively charged experience that can enhance and positively change the future of the dance music scene across our country. Our first edition of the Tomorrowland live stream has seen tickets selling out very quickly to avid fans across India. It will be great to see people from all over the country unite to partake of this exclusive experience in Mumbai. Almost 10,000 Indians attend Tomorrowland every year; this Tomorrowland live stream is dedicated to those fans who can’t make it there.” The tickets for the events start at Rs 990.
