Event Comic Book Weekend

If you love Indian comic books, this is something you have to check out. Comic Con India has brought back the Free Comic Book Weekend (FCBW). You can download free Indian comic books on your desktop PC, smartphone or tablet (running iOS, Android or Windows Phone OS) this weekend. Among the big names taking part in the free comic book weekend are Amar Chitra Katha, Campfire Graphic Novels, Pop Culture Publishing, Sufi Comics and Diamond Comics. Of the 1,000 titles available, you can download any five on the Readwhere.com website or application. Jatin Varma, the founder of Comic Con India, says, “Over 15,000 comic book fans joined the event last year. Comic Con India has plans to make this event bigger and better. With the ambition to triple our number, we plan to have a wider outreach and more publishers joining hands.”
But, that’s not all! Comic Con India is also organising a workshop with Abhijeet Kini, where you can learn how to draw comics and a Cosplay after Party on Saturday.
