Short film night
This Friday night, watch three short films that will keep your weekend with your children as The Pantry brings curated films for your little ones today, June 29, 8 pm onwards. In association with Mac Productions and Shamiana Short Film Club, The Pantry will screen four short films. Entry is free.
A Shadow of Blue, directed by Carlos Lascano, is an animation movie in which fantasy and reality merge to make dreams come true. Made in Spain, it was an Oscar nominee in 2013.
Bunny, made in the Netherlands and directed by Sacha Goedegebure, is about a giant rabbit with a heart bigger than himself. When one sunny day three rodents rudely harass him, something snaps... and the rabbit ain't no bunny anymore!
Pigeon Impossible, made in the USA and directed by Lucan Martell, is about James Bond getting harrowed by a pigeon. Would he still be able to save the world?
Gopher Broke, directed by Jeff Fowler, is about a gopher who finds himself on a road where trucks are hauling produce to market. He hits on the idea of shaking some of the produce loose for himself.
